If i remove the air con will the fans still come on when i press the button?

As per title, i\'m thinking of removing my air con as i never use it apart from turning on the fans. If i remove it all will the fans still come on? I cannot see why not and this would mean i dont have to sort out a seperate switch for the fans, but thought i\'s check.

Yep the fans come on even if you remove the fuse in the engine bay for the aircon :) cos the switch still energises the relay :)

Depends how you remove it.  For example, some C4 under that corner of the car would indeed remove the aircon, but would probably also cause issues to the fans, not to mention bodywork, wheels, etc.  Similarly, using black magic and voodoo to make a straw doll of the aircon, and pushing needles through it before burning it to destroy the aircon may also have side effects on other engine elements...

iv done this mod twice now and the fans always come on with the hit of the button :) u`l be surprised how much crap u remove once its all out lol...
