Almost finished her today, only problem is now she won\'t start, despite having started when it was moved off the ramps, it won\'t fire at all now. :(

Have a strange thing where if you put the spark tester inbetween the coil and the plug lead and make the gap huge the car tries to fire. Very puzzleing. We have all four sparks and fuel.

More investigation needed i think, going to get some new plugs next week. Any recommendations?

flooded!   if it was only started for short time when moved off the ramps, it is most likely flooded. Do a search on here for de flooding advice.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

We have deflooded it several times, I think it might be the 1000cc primarys. Tried pulling fuel out on the power FC but it then does\'nt do anything.

I might try fitting some smaller primaries.

What have you done since it came off the ramps, or importantly whats been done since the last time it fired up successfully.

It was started a few times on the ramps, but with mega blows from the turbo, intake gaskets etc. Mark fixed all these and then started it, drove it from the unit with the ramps to my unit and left it there. I came in next morning and it just would not start. We had another go yesterday and still no joy.

Bit miffed to be honest. Not helped by the fact that of all the mappers that use my place, none are rotary experts.

still sounds flooded, take the plugs out put some new ones, but make sure you follow the defood procedure correctly making sure you turn the engine without the plugs in and the connection to the fuel pump off (eg fuel relay) so all the residue of fuel comes out the plug holes

Ok, will give that a go once i\'ve got some new plugs. :)

Anybody got a good recommendation on plugs? I\'m used to NGK on piston engined car\'s, don\'t even where to start on rotary plugs!

Cheers chaps, as always most helpfull.

BUR9EQP IIRC - I just bought some to fit for Japshow :)  Although if you\'ve been beefing up the engine maybe some 10\'s ?
