Hi all.

Just have a quick question, tbh my priority\'s have changed a little and i\'m thinking of putting a smaller Turbo on my Fd for a bit (problerly until i get the power bug again)

Anyway, I am running a T04R Hks kit at the moment at 10psi of boost, thing is its not the best turbo for using every day / the odd blast. I don\'t plan on Tracking it this year (lack of funds) so its a bit overkill.

SO... I\'m thinking about putting a To4E on for a while, if i got a HKS one it would not need any mods and i\'m thinking for what i use it for it may suit me better?? plus it would be fairly cheap to buy as opposed to a Gt35R or something like that. Then i could swap it back if i feel the need.

Thing is would a "E" be like driving an FD with Twins on again? really responsive and pick up well low down? or an i waisting my time?

Cheers.

yes i would say so...the easiest thing to do would be to get another hks/garrett spec smaller turbo....and just swap out the front housings and keep the same rear housing...that way you dont have to re jig your downpipe............but remember your map mate.......just get your current map saved on the datalogit ad get a new one done for the smaller turbo, save that and then just chop and change as and when you swop turbos.

I know someone who has a garrett to4e that has recently been rebuilt....no shaft play what so ever.....that is surplus to requirements.
