milage screen blank?

hi guys the electronic millage counter on my car dont work? it lights up but there are no numbers on there any ideas on what i could try to solve this problem?

Mine did the same dude, I bought a new speedo and changed it over, but buy doing that added 100\'000k to my car, gutted. the mot\'s showed it at around 55k now shows 155\'000k gutted:reallymad

i seen a thread on here the other day on and on there they say about a company that turn back the clocks they say it aint illegal to turn them back the illegal bit is selling the car without informing the person that this has been carried out. i think it was about 70 quid. this company was in bristol coz i was searching for someone close to me. how much do the clocks go for throughly? was it a mph one?

Ive got all the MOT\'s, Invoice for the clocks etc to prove it so im not asre. plus ild never ever ever sell my RX7 any way. I payed £70 for a complete full set of clocks a just pulled the speedo out. Ill ask Steve (from lindopmotorsport) if hes got any instock and how much when i see him tomorow and let you know. I think were breaking the blue one weve got.

thats great thanks. i got a kmph clock at the the mo  if i buy a mph  will it work straight away or will i have to buy a chip?

hey there i have a board if interested has 83,963km on it all you would need to do is re solder your old dial + motor onto the new board and swap it out

Ive just checked on the clocks, they are spaced exactly the same as kmph but it says mph on it so yes you will need a converter, you can get them of ebay cheep (bout £10) i think, but the would work as kmph in your car.
 
the only problem is, steve\'s just told me the rev counter is nackered on the set we have. so! i will dig out my old ones (there knocking about some were) and swop the rev counter out of them for you and test them on my car 4 you. Ill let you know how much Steve wants for them.
