loss of boost????

when i drive my fd hard and change up a gear it seems to loose boost and makes a strange sound from the turbos. When staying in the same gear it boosts fine. Any ideas?

my turbos lost boost and made a funny noise when changing gear. the arm had come of the door that opens/witches between turbos on the underside of the exhaust manifold

Would love to know the answer to this one too. Sounds like the same issue as my car.
 
I can accelerate hard in any gear and it boosts fine, then when I change up and try to accelerate full-throttle, it is as if there is no boost. When i lift off the throttle to change gear after hard acceleration, there is a strange sound, almost like WOO00oo (hard to describe :p ) which we initially thought was the dump valve, but changing the dump valve made no difference.

Going to change all vaccum hose in the rat nest etc and check valves. Will let you know how it goes. doing the job this weekend. The engine, turbos, water system etc etc are all new so must be a vac problem.
