Finally found out...

I went to classes for 18 months, big load of good it did me.

I\'m too scared to use it, unless I\'m backed into a corner. And then, I scare myself with how much I actually know, and scare myself even more with how little I know.

But it is fun watching the locals reaction when you read something...

I figure that I should learn pretty quickly once I spend some serious time in a house with a native speaker in it. But I want to be able to read and write it too. I think I can pull it off. But I don\'t think I\'ll be using it in public until I am fluent. Just too chicken. Don\'t know why, usually I have little fear of anything.

We shall see what happens.

BTW, Backwater Japan is Kagawa, Shikoku. Smallest Island, smallest prefecture. There\'s nothing here for most people. But there is plenty of space (relatively speaking) and lots of roads. Maybe the best place in the country to own a car worth driving. Just the way it is here.

Come visit if you want, but trust me, there\'s not much here worth seeing.

Lots of cars, lots of colour plus I just noticed something. Might even make a quick \'holiday\' of it and see Tokyo in the process.

P.S. I think my Japanese should be sufficient by that stage. I really do have to pull my finger out and get on it. I guess being awake during reasonable hours might help somewhat.

P.P.S. I can\'t let my wife come to the Salon with me. Not if one particular girl who likes having her picture taken is there anyway. They are kinda identical from the neck down. And I mean idenitcal...  :cool

If I gave you \'that\' certain girl, she would not even hesitate in lopping off your dangly bits, popping them in a jar and applying alcohol to dis-infect the wound, which would of course be made with a blunt hacksaw. She might even consider applying spark to said wound, just to make sure it was sterilized.

Ah it\'s been so long since I\'ve been to Japan, say anyone been to a "soap town" and had one of those special back rubs?? :confused: ...Only I\'ve walked past them many times and been tempted by the pics of the pretty gals, though ¥50,000 did sound alot (what u get for your Yen eh)?
