Hi peeps,

I am thinking of buying the above.

Can anyone advise;
if they are any good
if they fail or suffer any problems
How hard they are to install and whats involved
and finally how much you would value this kit second hand but unused

:Thumbs-up

Btw this is to be run as an extra and not mapped with it.

They are very good, how much second hand you getting it for?, plus you get good service from Aquamist, Richard Lamb will always answer enquiries.
The pumps do wear out after a couple of years, but you can get them serviced easily.
Quite easy to fit as they come with good instructions

aquamist is good and the benefit of full after sales back up..look at their hfs kit it seems a great all round kit..mine is sitting in the box still but it will only be used as a precaution and not mapped
but as i understand it can be set up so if u loose the water it cuts the boost

m4drx

hi mate,

yup the advanced systems are well... advanced so they can be setup to basically mean if it runs out of water or has any pump/flow problems it cuts boost etc so you could map it with water and as long as you check the level etc like water & oil in the engine then you\'ll be fine.

here\'s me preaching - -i only got mine today!!!

instructions are ****e so im struggling to see how the pump is set up & pipes etc too.

Hope you get it all set up and working dude.
I looked at the instructions and realised I\'d need to be a mechanic, plumber and electrician to get the bloody thing installed!

Brett

Do you ever have any problems with deposits buliding on the nozzels?

really you should be using distilled water or rain water as that has hardly any calcium/limescale deposits or just clean the nozzles from time to time

Thats what I thought - people just never seem to mention it :)  How often does the system need filling?

Tap water is fine if you live in a soft water area (or have a water softener).
