I have found an Apexi Power meter gauge Shows HP in PS.

It comes with the controler & harness Which has 4 connecting wires

Live,
Earth,
RPM,
& AFM Signal?????? Need to know what it is & if The RX7 Has it.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers Garith.

AFM = Air Flow Meter - FD has a MAP sensor AFAIK so it\'s irrelevant - may be of use on the FC though - think these use MAF?

Wonder if you could hook it up to the MAP signal for a similar effect? Guess it would have to be calibrated somehow though

Hi Sih,

Thanks for the info mate, Shame really as apparently it is a very rare item. Would be nice to have a gauge that shows your HP when driving through the rev range, Would be able to work out peak power in every gear.

I\'ve got a mate with one on his SKyline - awesome little gadgets - mays till workk though I guess - have you got a manual for it? I guess the principal ios the same - Map and MAF systems both send a voltage to the ECU to signal a set metric, so if the unit can be calibrated to suit, it may work - Surely it must need setting up for a specific car anyways as it\'s generic, as the MAF\'s on different cars surely work in different ranges and different scales?

Dont really know mate,

I have been told that the FD is measured in preasure where the AFM is well air flow. I am not to up on these sort of things but if i can get it cheap enough it might be worth trying it.

Cheers Garith.
