yet another Q - as above

what sort of rpm do you see power at, is it really a mega pig to drive low rpm and what sort of power gains are expected over stock & street ports

cheers

John

From what I hear the worst part about the Bridge port on the street is the endless pockets you\'ll need for fuel, they are very thirsty.

Its very streetable because it makes this noise brrrap brrrap brrrapp xD

BlitzBoy

naaa its how you tune them , I get on average 17mpg same as when I had my street port.
they main thing against a bridge is the high idle approx 1200-1500rpm and the louder exahsut note with the braap braap brapp

Main adavantages you get on boost quicker and makes for a good circuit car
I gained across the rev range an extra 20hp and made it earlier

also make sure you have a decent sized turbo, T04Z\\R as a minimum or T78

John_Hudson

is that on full or half bridge blitzboy? :)

BlitzBoy

Half bridge that way you can still use 2 piece apex seals, plus you can keep some kind of idle

Darren, how goes it, are you running in yet ?

hairyhoover

Hi Simon, yep im running again. Ive got a couple of small problems but nothing major.

Do you know what sping was in the wastegate? because it seems to boost way over 0.7 bar

The turbo is great spools very very early! It may even be to small for my ports so im enquiring about using a t04r or a t04z.

Sorry about the hijack chaps!

strange_days_uk

um dunno about spring, but pretty sure it was for 10 psi.  glad the setup is working well, that turbo always did spool well it must feel lightning quick (I hope so anyhow)
