Dude the glue shouldn\'t need staples or \'time to dry\' :)
If it\'s contact adhesive you used that is... I hope...

Quote from: D2BBAWas it water seals in the end then mate? Any damage to the plates?

Chris
yeah it was a water seal, plates are fine and the final price is £3500 but i am getting a few extra things done to it as well!

i didn’t just use glue encase i pulled it off when i was pulling it tight to get out the slack marks if you get what i mean, like i said i am not sure what the glue is they give me but they said it would work just rather be safe than sorry and keep pulling it off i also though that with it not being fixed in a rigid position and flexing when i move it the glue may split or crack and start coming off

Bobbit

How long will have they had yours then Steven? And would you recommend them? Mine\'s off the XO tomorrow to get them to look at the clutch but i\'ve got a sinking feeling it\'s gone pop also.
:Laugh LOL

i would defo recommend them mate they are top service and dead willing to help you! price seems very good to as i asked around first! a normal rebuild is only £2500

as for the glove box mate i have not started as its still fitted to my car lol! i will also be doing the doors pillars and all the plastics in the back! i may want to swap my rear seats for storage bins to make holders for subs like the pick below:

Very nice job there Steven, love the look of the black suede.

Sorry to hear about your motor Rob, what makes you think it\'s blown? Hope your luck changes soon.

Was waterseals here too matey.  I decided just to leave it at a standard re-build tho.  With the new clutch, MOT, a few small MOT repairs, new centre plate and a few other bits mine came in around £3300.  Drives great now (as far as i can tell at this early stage!) and the lads were canny :)

Will be popping to see the lads at XO on Saturday meself.  Gunther is hopefully going to give my bro a price to install his Jackson Racing Superchrger in his MX5 :)

RX7 FD3S RE Amemiya AC037 - Gone but not forgotton!

Porsche 911 (964) C4 - Aircooled weekend fun!

Golf GT 170 (MKV) - Das verks mobile!

Bobbit

Car was hard to start, idle kept dropping etc. Now it wont even start. Gonna change all the plugs tonight as they may have caused the faults, but i\'ve got a feeling it\'s knackered
:Laugh LOL

yeah lindop are spot on like!

shame about your car mate, carnt wait to get myn back but 1000 mile run in, its going to take years!

Bobbit

1000 miles, could do that in 2 days! Take a leisurely drive up north and visit the sites of Scotland, treat the missues. She\'ll be well impressed, also as it\'s on a run in she\'ll not even be able to complain about you flooring it to often (like mine does!)
:Laugh LOL

Sounds like a good price, thinking of getting it ported or going single if i do need a rebuild (maybe both but don\'t tell the wife)

Supercharged MX-5 sounds like fun. Not as fast as a rex tho.

ENVYD
