rx n00b

Hi Folks,
 
So I am currently a 200sx owner which I hope to have sold in the next week or so.
 
I am based in the Republic of Ireland, but I am looking to England to hopefully buy an RX7 shortly.
 
I am looking at one at the moment 1994, 54200. No rebuild, but recent compression test (waiting for what the results were, but the seller says they were good).
 
With the fact I would be travelling from Ireland with cash I am hoping to have the car checked out in advance by someone who knows RX7\'s very well.
 
The seller is based very close to Heathrow and I was wondering does anyone know a reputable garage (or board member) that I could pay to give a detailed going over?

they guy who is meant to be buying my 200 is stalling, but i dont know if i can let this one pass me by! its the exact look i would be aiming for.
 
he is 15 mins from heathrow airport, which suits me for flying in. is that with a reasonable distance of you? how much notice would you need?
 
i am just looking for someone who knows their rx7\'s to have a look. check for all the usual stuff, check the compression test results etc.
 
i dont know rx7\'s too well yet and i am very weak willed. i would fly over and unless the car failed to start i would prob just buy it. at least if i get some one objective to look at it...
 
on a seperate note, is it hard to find a standard rx7 steering wheel with airbag? this one has a momo f1 steering wheel, but i would rather the airbag
