It seems we have reached capacity on both forums (MRC and FDUK) hence I will go through both and add a new list based on the times that they posted.

Cheryl will contact Paul ASAP and see if he can book further spaces as I think we will need them after all!

This has been done on a first post first served basis combining both forums (MRC and FDUK). As with the activity days and as posted Cheryl needs the money to secure the first 6 spaces by FRIDAY 4th APRIL - £78 inc fee\'s

A quick note on friends i.e Andy\'s mate - Priority will go to forum members/rotary owners etc first. Passengers are more than welcomed at no extra cost.

Reserves - due to popularity there is a good chance more spaces will become available by Cheryl sourcing more or people not paying in time so keep your eye on this.

I\'ve contected Paul this morning with regards to more spaces and I will let you know ASAP his response!

I\'ve also been chatting to the French Tourist board (not really just a few locals) and they have recommended a hotel or B&B in St Valery sur Somme. Near the coast so any ladies who fancy a stroll, shop, or sun bathe (fingers crossed) don\'t have any issues with transport as we will all have the cars at the track!!

Keep you posted on both counts.

I think that those with their names on the list have until Fri 4th to pay as requested if they do not then the places are open to the reserves and friends. He who pays first wins??!!!
 
Someone tell me what would normally happen in this instance? Mark is away working this week so isn\'t readily available for consultation!! lol  :Laugh

Been doing some sums and the costs of the tunnel are expensive if we go for more than one night. And I mean at best it\'s £70 more expensive. Thus what do people think of the following ....
 
Thursday 24th stay at The Carlton Hotel in Folkestone (3 miles from the tunnel) where we can get the tunnel by 6am for £27.00 .... drive to Abbeville (I have spoken briefly to Paul and he said he would be happy if we had to start at the track a bit later due to this but I don\'t see that it\'s necessary). Do the track day then travel to Criel Sur Mer for the Friday night. Get a little beach time etc then make a country run back in the direction of Calais to get the tunnel between 10pm and midnight for £27.00 again.
 
Thus costs look like the following ...
 
PER COUPLE
 
Carlton Hotel £63.00
Tunnel Out £27.00 (providing it\'s before 6am)
Track Day £78.00
Hotel in Fracne £61.00
Tunnel Back £27.00
 
TOTAL £253.00 (£126.50 each) (I\'ve worked it out to £222 singularly. You don\'t get much concession for being a single traveller do you!)
Plus food for you and the car! Spends etc.

It has parking and mod cons. Nearby there is shopping, horse riding, golf, beach, casino whatever people want to do! No pole dancing thought Tony!! lol

For anyone who doesn\'t want to stay in hotels and would prefer to drive there and back in the same day the Eurotunnel costs are the same. £27.00 out and £27 back.
 
Let\'s get moving on this before the hotels go. Remeber it\'s school fduking holidays! Don\'t forget to pay by Friday or pm me or I will offer out your space again!!!
