Especially if it\'s then hard to start. But no mention of coolant loss, which you would expect too.

its a 1995 fd3s i cant see signs of loss of water. did get it remapped 2~3 weeks ago

you need to see if you really are losing water mate, i live on the wirral btw, white smoke normally is, well IS water. but best be 100% sure before you give Pip your life savings

over fuelings usually means big ass flames pumping out yer exhaust not white smoke lol.. id say water seals or fooked tubby gaskets causing the smoke..

white smoke can also be a sign of over fueling in the lower rpm, if the motor doesnt have the momentum to keep turning the fuel eill just be dumped into th eexhaust as you turn the key, plugs get wet, wont spark ect

mine was overfueling big time and the smoke was white so might not be seals need to check for coolant loss

interloper393

surely the exhaust temp would ignite the fuel, iv never heard/seen that b4 :S

Yea but at first starting the exhaust wont be that hot? depends when its doing it?

hy every1 cheers for reply s
its blimin wierd the car cut out of a total 4 times. sounds a little guess but car did cut out the first tym after ijust filled. im guessin could be the fuel. cut 3 times be4 ifilled up again which the 4th times was during a warm.
ive the car since and seems to gone .but i have been ragging its balls.averaging 80-120
the past few nights.

could it be dodgy fuel.

no coolant loss or oil thats noticeable .
did  notice it was driving a bit sluggish..... thought it could of been water in engine but no coolant loss .....help please either remap was ran too rich or dodgy fuel ?????????
