Hiya chaps

i have been looking on ebay and there are some digital oil temp/oil pressure/water temp gauges for sale that are pretty cheap

they are all the new style electrical ones

after speaking to the company that is selling them - they all connect to the stock engine postitions - so no need for sandwich plates and top hose sensors etc..

BUT

see\'ing that i dont have any manuals to hand - are the water temp and oil pressure sensors easy to get to on the engine ???

or does the FC engine have a seperate location for oil temp and oil pressure ???

the kit works out at about £43 delivered for all 3 gauges and i thought this was pretty cheap - no idea how good they are - but it sounds cool

at the end of the day - i can prob get round the oil ones by using a sandwich plate - but then this incurs a cost again

the gauges look like this

so im just wondering if they would be really hard to fit and not bother with them - or is it not a bad job to "T" off the original postions ??

havent looked at the link but the stock mazda oil pressure sensor is under the oil filter, the dash water temp gauge sender is next to it but the ecu water temp is taken from behind the stat housing (green plug).   There is no stock oil temp sender

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

i suppse i could cheat and use a oil sandwich plate and top hose sendor - but then im adding about another 40-50 to the costs

after doing some digging - it sounds a right pain in the rear to T off the oil sendor - so thats prob not doable :(
