Hi,

Just wondering how long i should expect it to take to run the car up to temperature?

Cheers

Dont let it idle on the drive. Drive it from cold. Will take about 15mins to fully warm cruising at 30mph. This will warm everything up (gearbox, diff, brakes, engine) before a good spanking

Yep, at least 10 mins to get the oil up to temp according to my gauge, longer if you\'re pootling around (not that you should be going on-boost before it\'s warmed up!)

I always drive mine around until my water temp hits 83 as this takes about 20 mins.

remember oil takes longer to warm up than water, and imo the oil temp is far more important than water, so if you don\'t have an oil temp gauge, give it an extra 5 minutes or so after your water is up to temp.

If I don\'t let mine turn over, it\'s a pig to drive off boost while warming up..

A right pig..

Lumpy drive, jolty acceleration, lots of popping and banging, stalls at junctions etc..

Let it tick over for 10 or 15 mins on the drive before hand and it drives lovely..

Very odd..
