I have a small niggle with my wipers. Since the rebuild the front do not work with the intermittent function. It\'s a relay problem somewhere as they do not park either and needs a skillful flick of the switch to get them to stop at the bottom.

I\'ve tried a different column stalk but this failed to cure it, so either i\'m unlucky and the replacement had the same problem or the cause is something else.

Ideas on a postcard!

mr_tim

which relay and where is it?

Thanks

Donato

I would reckon that it will be one of the relays next to the fuse box next to the accelerator pedal as the fuse for the windscreen wipers is there.

If you remove the panel to the right of the pedal you can have a look.

i\'ve checked out the relays and none seem to be related to the wipers - only a wiper fuse.

Quite a few people in the US have had this - but they are not bothered about fixing it as the sun always shines!

Here are the tech book possibilities:

Intermittent operation not possible (but fast/slow is)

- Switch failure
- Intermittent operation relay failure

Cure:
- Check wiper/washer switch

Delay on intermittent operation is not adjustable

- Switch failure
- Intermittent operation relay failure

Cure:
- Check wiper/washer switch

Automatic repositioning of wipers does not work (wipers stick on the windshield)

- Wiper motor failure
- Switch failure
- Electrical circuit failure (interruption of an electrical line)
- Bad contact issue

I\'m at a loss as to where the Intermittent operation relay is, and a new switch didn\'t work!

New wiper motor - sorted :D
