Sort of a Newbie....

Well i joined up last year because i was almost the owner of an RX4 that needed a complete restoration, but alas that wasn\'t to be so i never really came back on here.

Anyway last month John who works over at Rotechnics and happens to be one of my best mates rang me and said would i be interested in a 2nd gen EGI for a small sum...so after a quick test drive i decided that it would be wrong of me not to buy it, so i did!!
This happened to coincide with my company relocating some 35 miles away, so i have had the car a month and put about 600 miles on it and i can honestly say she hasn\'t faultered at all (other than me flooding it at Asda :3Confused ).
The car is fantastic the compression is good (so im told) and the only fault is the sunroof doesnt work. Its got one dent where it was drifted into a lamppost (not by me) but im going to keep that as a sort of medal of honour. Other than that it just needs a bit of cosmetic attention a touch up here and there.

I/we okay he, added a rear spoiler the rubber type one and im just going to service it tomorrow so she\'ll be great.

The one huge problem is the fact that its cost me 120 in parking fines and 390 to get it back from a parking enforcement firm as parking is dodgy at my house!! Grrrrrrrrrrr  :mad:

Does anyone know where i can get some Turbo 2 wheels? the lattice style ones. As im not overly keen on the standard alloys i have even though they\'re in pretty much perfect condition.

Well i\'ve ordered some bits and bobs for the car namely a set of "glow" dials, because the gauges are very 80\'s and i drive a lot at night so i wanted something that was easier on the eyes. And i managed to get a quick shift kit for around 35 quid off of ebay (bargain), as the distance between the gear changes feels a bit ridiculus, thankfully my friend agrees so its not all in my head.

I have to be careful because i have to put the Stag through its MoT and im hoping to get a "C" service for the REX which is the better side of god knows what.

make me an offer! they have michelin pilots on 2 with appox 5mm tread
and Avon CV-3\'s on 2 which are almost new.
