Nice one thanks.

UK Cars have one extra in the downpipe and then the standard mid section CAT...

You can have a Sports CAT made for you if you like by Exhaust UK in Sheffield, got my complete system from there and still passes MOT\'s :D
\'92 UK RX7 FD
\'97 Kwak ZX6R currently at Stage 3
\'86 Honda CRM250R stroker
\'11 BMW 320d ED

Right now im totally ****ed off. :2Mad :2Mad :2Mad :2Mad :2Mad

Went for retest today told the blocke he was testing the car under the wrong regs, Showed him my last test, told him i comfired it with the VOSA.

So out comes his book it shows the car must have Co 0.200 and HC 200ppm

He said "we can try it and see what we get"
knowing fully well its a waste of time I told him No its 3.5% Co and 1200 ppm, and that there is not  RX7 in the world that will pass that turned on!!!!

He said "I can only go with whats in the VOSA book" as he showed me!! behold he is right??? I asked that thats prob for a UK car! he shrugs his sholders! PRAT PRAT PRAT ****ING LISTEN TO MEEEEEEYYYAAA.

So I ****ed off mad as **** and told him to stick his re-test up his arse!!!

Tosser!!:reallymad :reallymad :reallymad :reallymad :reallymad

So what the **** is going on?????? I ring VOSA they say its a non cat at 3.5% and 1200ppm and then there book he has shows otherwise!!!

So im very ****ed off right now!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

adamk

Right, Been on the phone to VOSA........ Again!!!!:Typing

My car is deffo 3.5% co and 1200ppm HC NON CAT TEST!!!
Due to the fact its an import! and the something to do with the Vin number?

I have the MOT station by the balls now because the lad on the phone (vosa) who may I add was great, Says when you go back, tell him to call me and ill put him right!!! and gave me a direct line!:Viking

Problem is im not sure I want to go back and face the guy he may give me a :spank .

Hopefully someone else will be testing it! Prob fail again anyway, Now that would be a pickle!:o

Deep breaths and count to 10. In....out.....in....out

Yer, im in a mess with that idea thinking about it, I have a standard ecu so I dont want a free flowing sports cat yet untill I have fitted a Apexi ecu, also I have a complete exhaust ready to fit! however..... its a 3" mumma. I could prob take the centre section in and get them to fit a sports cat in it when the time comes!

thanks for that mate. I have saved there web page.

DC-TYPER

just to confirm, the bet test is carried out at idle. he should NOT be checking the car by the book. it is all computerised now. the check MUST be by vin, not model.

****

adamk

So when he does the test he should be doing it with the car on idle! yer.
Otherwise he is doing it wrong? yes

Sorry im just trying to get as much ammo as possible! :flamed

Thanks

rx7veilside

idle test only def no fast idle test..this guy must be a prat

Timmy

Print this out and show it to him and point out it says exact match which is impossible as it is an import.
