Sold the RX7

Well the time came to get rid of the car. It was up for sale the end of last year but I was messed around a bit and I wasn\'t sure if I wanted to sell the car, but now I\'ve been offered some long term work abroad it would be silly to keep the car so it had to go. I think it was up for sale for less than 5 days. I had a fair price for it and was gutted to see it go. I hope to get a 540i or maybe e39 m5 next, though not totally sure. Failing that I will just use the odd hire car and wait until 2009 to get a 1999 spec rx7. :wave I\'d just like to say thanks to MRC and other people who have helped me along the way, esp Chris Aspinall (ASP).

don\'t get a 540 looking for excitement...i run one day-to-day and while its a fantastic all-rounder and bloody quick, its no sportscar and the lifeless steering puts paid to any fun you think you might have

Agree, I sold a 540 for the REX. The 5\'s a great car, but doesn\'t compare. You\'ll be gutted after you get used to the great noise from the v8. I\'d not go back, especially when you get the servicing bills through.
