RX8 fuel consumption getting worse?

Any ideas why this should be?
I used to get 270 miles for a tank of gas, now it\'s 220, tyres are checked regularly and I can\'t think of anything else.

It\'s been going on for a good 6 months though, well back into summer

Have you actually measured it by filling up, driving and then filling up again. Miles per tank is very inaccurate.

Yeah, every time I fill it up I zero the mileage and take note of what it\'s on when I have to fill it up again - it used to do 270 per tank, about 22 mpg, and now it does 220 which is about 18mpg I think, and I just wondered what may have caused the drop.
