Not sure yet - waiting for all the sponsors to start bidding!  :)

None have come along yet??? why
Thanks,

Carl

That\'s funny,
I have not got any sponsors either Glen,
I just had my engine balanced yesterday. That was good to see.In fact I worked with the guy on it,so got to see how it is all done in detail.
Hope to get it installed soon.
Back to the sponsors thing Actually Ross at dragon and Tim at RX Motor\'s have both helped me somewhat with certain parts.Big thanks to them.
Kind regards
Carl

Now where\'s that pulley ?

Looking very sexy. Are you going to remove any of the metal in the rear quarters, or just bond the new wings to the existing ones?

Cheers Ross,

Looking to remove as much metal as possible - the roll cage is actually going to add quite a bit of weight because of its complexity (being certified).  So we need the weight out!!! :)

Glenn, Ross and guys,

In the latest Rx7 Magazine theres a few pics of the new Gt300 spec cars, ??cant read who is building but not amemiya.

They have removed a lot of metal from it. The rear guards are almost non existant and even under the side skirts is missing.

I will scan in the pics for you when I go back to work on Tuesday, I left the Magazine there.

BTW
Got some 99spec chrome indicators so I have narrowed down the front bar decision to something that accepts them. Looking to Upgrade wheels at the moment, then the car will head back to OZ after the end of this month.

Yes Rx7, but which one in particular?

If I get half a chance (between curtains and lights shopping for new place) I\'ll stop by the bookshop and take a look. See if we can\'t work out who\'s doing what.

Besides, if I can\'t read it, she can... ;)

Actually Glenn, I have a question if you don\'t mind.

The crank for this animal, I noticed somewhere you said it was \'Custom\' CNC machined. Does that mean you went to someone and asked them to make one up, is it an off the shelf part from somewhere or what exactly? And if it was from a machine shop somewhere, was it expensive, as in hideously expensive, pricy but worth it or a relative bargain?

Just curious is all.  At least you might give me a reason to spend more than plane changeover time in Sydney next time I go back. Even after spending 6 weeks in the suburb next to Blacktown (starts with an A?). That left a lasting impression... Not a good one either.

BTW, hurry up! ;)

Alec Bell/Kiwi-RE are building the engine I think - I dunno if they make the cranks themselves?

BTW, Glenn - see the Kiwi-RE RX2 in FF\'s this month - SWEET :)

YES - PLEASE PLEASE SCAN, that sort of stuff if VERY helpful.  It is great to get ideas from other people.  I actually have the guy looking at some of the bodywork already, we are planning on taking as much metal out as possible.

.ps You coming back to Sydney?
Thanks,
