The VS stuff is usually good, but they seem to have been ultracopied over the years.

Yep, mine was in the trader a few months back. Hmm, right seems pretty unanimous onthe vs kit... Totally agree about the repair jobs, exactly the same in Japan so many people used to just slap on cheap kits prior to exporting cars.
 
Civics, ! Well the type R is an awesome car, as is the integra type R, but its like anything, I thought the scooby was good till I drove the GTR, I also thought my old Amstrad 386 was fast till I got a pentium... you grow up and move on..!

My 2p\'s worth is that I have to follow the herd and say Veilside-alike kits are usually a bit horrid. Just don\'t ever seem to match any of the original lines or shapes on the car. MazdaSpeed alloys are rather groovy though!
 
But what do I know, I\'ve got ebaytastic chav bug eye lights on mine, so my taste is hardly sound, is it! Doesn\'t really matter what anyone else thinks of your car so long as you like it, thats what I reckon

Nick, it really does matter if your trying to sell it, otherwise yup i totally agree...

Nice rex shinagawa, I think for sale purposes you would benefit by leaving the pop ups on (auction the ebaytastic chav bug eye lights to some other sucker... :Giggle), putting the stock fd front bumper & spoiler on... it would look like a nice, standard, unabused rex with light mods as you say, indicators etc... Jobs a good\'un.

The point is, though, that I actually like my ebaytastic chav etc lights! Maybe that makes me weird (alright, I am weird) but that does mean that the beautiful thing about opinions is they vary from person to person. A forum like this tends to attract like-minded people who are likely to have broadly similar taste, but that doesn\'t mean that the Uk isn\'t full of other RX owners present and future with different tastes. Obviously plenty of them do like the Veilside-ish look or Fleabay would be awash with genuine imitation kits all the time. You just need to sell to one of them!
 
I bet there are a lot more views of this thread than there are votes in the poll, because people don\'t always have a strong opinion either way. They view the photos and think "yeah, it\'s alright" and that\'s it. The ones that really love or hate the look are the ones motivated enough to voice an opinion.
 
If you can talk with passion and animation about something you like, then you can sell it! Failing that, pretend!

Have to agree with the lads.  

The wheels are gorgeous and the colour is nice.  Its just the front end letting it down.  

Even if it looks better in real life the advert picture looks a bit off and the front end isnt to many peoples taste.  Change back to the standard bumer, keep the pop-ups and take a few more photees!

As a person looking for an RX7 seeing that the bumper isn\'t the same colour as the rest of the car would be enough to put me off.

Finally picked up this month\'s Japanese Performance, and this car is in the For Sale section. Did you mean to leave the asking price out of the ad, dude? Can\'t help but feel that\'ll put quite a few people off from ringing about it. Also, afraid to say that even in a inch by inch and a half photo that bumper is still really an obviously different colour to the rest of it!

The car looks nice, the bumper wouldn\'t be my thing at all though, too much contrast from the smooth look of the standard car. As for the front bumper, if they say thats the best they can do id take it back and tell them to sort it out. When I first seen the pic I thought that they hadn\'t sprayed it yet.
Its very obviously a different colour and ruins the car
