Hi everybody!

This is my car, it is very unique, I think the pics probably say it all..... Anyway, I would liek to sell it as I am back off to Japan in May and have a plan for a replacement!

(I also still have 3 of these bodykits in my garage, so if anyone likes that let me knowand I will sort you out with one, including the spoiler!!:spank )

1992 Mazda RX-7.
54,000 miles

This car has had a light modify with HKS induction, SS exhaust, interior boost guage (with custom steering wheel cowl) it s a very fast car but not modified to such an extent that the engine is taking a battering. There is of course a blow off valve

The exterior is really very special, of course the Veilside body kit and a custom paint job on the car (including inners), the large Mazda Speed alloys (with new Dunlop rubbers) just set it off.

The interior is the 2+2 format and there is some wear on the rear seats, other than that everything is as it should be with a single slot CD and custom speakers including JVC tweeters built into the door.

I am fitting non pop up bug eye lights and I have also fitted clear side repeaters which just sets the car off that little bit more.

When the car is warm and that second turbo kicks in watch the flames!:eek

dont think many people r.
as i have since found out lol.
if i done it again i wouldnt go this way would probably do a feed or burnout kit.

shinagawa8888

ha!
I love them, I still have the original bumper which could go back on. The reason for the colour is because paint shop muppets in this country do not seem to be able to mix colours! To be fair, it actually dosent look that bad, the photo presents it in the worst possible light.

Actually does anyone know a decent paintshop that would do the whole car? Seeing the gunmet grey makes me want that colour now.....

Thats a very nice butt you have there! I actually have the flush lights, just havent fitted them yet, in agreement about the bug eyes... Very surprised that the VS kit is not a hit with you guys! Well if you know anyone who may want to allevieate me of the car (standard bumper is the correct colour!) would very much appreciate your help! I also have an R32 GTR which I am trying to move (oh and a race prepped MX5) really have to slim my collection.

as u can c from mine i have the same kit.
i thought the same when i bought it and i think it is more of a case that every bodykit manafacturer has copied the look of veilside so u end up with the same looking bumper on novas/corsas etc..
thats why everyone ends up fitting either feed or re-amemiya that r more unique to the fd.

shinagawa8888

Thats true I guess... I lived in Japan for 8 years, actually in the auto business and the vs stuff was never really that popular there... seems to have more of a name here and in the US. On the RX you used to see a lot of the Mazda speed bumpers which I was never a fan of. I love theri wheels though, that, I think is the best bit about the car....

olly-civic

im sorry but i hate the veil****e kit what ever car its on, our s2000 has one and its pants and my mate has a supra and it looks so fast n furious its really poor

shinagawa8888

Hi, sorry Olly but I dont understand what you are trying to say? Have you been smoking something? Oh... and civics really are a waste of good steel...

Agreed. The Veilside Combat kits have been copied sooo much over the last 15? years - they really have been done to death. I\'ve always hated those noses and rear wings. I\'ve seen a couple of nasty FD\'s that have been pranged at the front and the owner has clearly just bought the cheapest piece of plastic they could find on ebay to repair it with - I guess that may be half the reason I dont like them, lol. Not that I\'m suggesting yours isnt a straight car - it looks very tidy :)

From the point of view of selling, I really think you\'d be better refitting a stock nose cone (sprayed the same colour as the rest of the car - that paint mis-match is REALLY off-putting!). Theres a red VS nosed car on here thats been for sale for a while - I think the same applies, probably have sold with a stock nose cone on it.

As for Civic\'s being a waste of steel, some of them are REALLY capable cars and incredibly quick on road and track - aside from the fact that lots are driven by 17 y/o muppets (depending on which variant you are on about to an extent) - they really are very good toys :King
