I know a guy that has a stoptech kit on his EVO. They seemed good enough on that.

There are many kits out there to choose from. What are you using the car for?

If thats the case then you have no real need to go for HUGE AP\'s, Project Mu\'s or Endless kits. The Stoptech would be plenty good for the road and track days. I don\'t know what kind of price range you are looking at but i have a set of 330mm 6 Pot GREX (Greddy) brakes here. They come in at £1,500 +vat. Don\'t know how that compares with the stop tech.

Hi stoptechs are just shy of £1500 all in. If you can lose the dreaded VAT i will take those off your hands.
Thanks

How are the stock 4 pots with a set of decent pads (DS2500\'s)? Surely fade is down to the material you are using in your pads and the quality of the disk. The four pots on my old celica gt4 were pretty good and that was a big ol car to bring to a halt.

Are you not spending money for moneys sake or are the standard brakes that bad?

The stock 4 pots are good brakes but you tend to get fade after a while on the track. I have found whilst trying various combinations of discs and pads that if you use a DBA slotted rotor and a set of Endless pads with a good set of teflon brake lines you can get good results off the stock calipers.
