Japanese Spec - 280bhp

This isn\'t right... The japanese figures are:
1992-1995 - 255bhp
1996-1998 - 265bhp
1999-2002 - 280bhp..

Or at least that\'s the figures I\'ve read most of the time...

Well the japanese sometime underestimate the power to get past law in Japan. Many people proabably play on this, as well as quote wild figures of 350bhp!
Its a fast car as standard anyway lol

There was a gentlemans agreement not law that they wouldn\'t make any production car over 250ps, think this only included toyota, nissan and mazda so not honda mitsi subaru but they did nothing in this power range at the time.
Not sure what a stock rx7 puts out as said cause you can only take the factory figure with a pinch of salt. This is why on skyline and supras an exhaust adds some times upto 50bhp they used the exhaust to restric the car.

Lol yeh we went off on a tangent there!
Well I rang up about that car, had a long chat with the guy. Nothing wrong with it as far as I could make out, just that he wanted a lot more for it at the time.
I\'ve got a standard 1993, excellent condition with recent rebuild, in a better colour! Red let me know if youre interested

Well:
-It\'s a Type X which means its got leather seats all round (in good condition, only a bit of wear on drivers side bolster)
-It\'s got an electric sunroof, and drivers air bag, and the bose sound system (altough only still got Japanese radio)
-Stern 17\'\' genuine Split rim alloys
-The centre console has been trimmed in red alcantara
-Blitz back box, not overly loud, but enough to make you smile!
-Otherwise the car is standard
-Rebuilt about 6500miles ago by Rotechnics, reciept to prove
-Serviced every 3000miles (oil and filter)
-Bodywork in very good condition, couple of tiny dints
