tapping/clicking

anyone got any idea what could be causing a tapping/clicking noise from under the UIM? i only really hear it at idle, and the car seems to be running ok- injectors? do they normally make a sound during their cycling, or could it be an indication they are on their way out? any other suggestions would be great as well. it sounds just like tappets need adjusting, but i KNOW that isn\'t the case. quite tempted to take it to a backstreet garage and see if that is what they say though!:Hammer

Its the solenoids they do click on most cars.

cheers bud, i thought it was the injectors, after simplifying the rats nest it sounds a bit louder and so i wanted to check it was normal. wish my car didn\'t sound like a battered transit van on idle though!
