Na mate... it was a 52, but I had a 60mm Apexi gauge to get in there so I had to chop it about!!

John_Hudson

how does it look against the rpm gauge, does it block much ?

looks good btw bud :)

Joeh

Was thinking the same as John, but to realise the centre of the RPM gauge is irrelevant though...

I guess it still allow free reading of RPM or is it a mission? My steering wheel blocks a lot of stuff on the dash but I guess my head is quite near the ceiling (like most of us :) )

Looks awesome jono but i think u could have swapped the liberty of modifying a re-am steering column for a stock one, would have come up very similar!

antnicuk

looks good,  you obviously have far too much time on your hands and i think you should come and help me do the fibre glass work on my kit car!  Its still rotary!
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Jono FD3

Not a great deal of visability has been lost to be honest with you!! When the car is at idle, you can see the tip of the needle (about 8mm) then from 1500rpm to about 8000rpm is clear to read....... & I\'m a short arse, just about see over the wheel ;) !

I\'ll get a pic up after lunch now to show you!!

Jono

Jono FD3

In the pic the steering wheel has thrown a shadow on to the taco when the flash whent off!! the top of the taco is clearly visable with out flash!!

what you think??

its great that mate the only problem i can really spot is the silicon reaction witht he paint on the front! just above the hub! part from that its spot on i would not want to give that ago lol!

Jono FD3

I thought somone would pick up on that!!!!

Yea, didn\'t spend much time rubbing back there.... dull realy as that is the part I will be looking at all the time !!!

ENVYD

yeah well its nothing to big! anyways mate its top work btw what it that white thing you used is it some sort of modified gauge pod filled with something :S ?

Jono FD3

It\'s a moulding of a 60mm A pillar pod I took to chop for this job!!! Got a few more Ideas up my sleave too, so watch out ;)
