I imported this car back in 2004 with a group of others.  Drove it around on dealer plates for about a month and really have had it sitting at Friends Farm/Barn since.

*Did fire it up carefully and drive around the yard a bit every 3 to 5 months...

clearing out old projects now and this lovely little car is on the agenda.  was going to just sell as is for around £2200.. but figured it\'s worth more than that..and don\'t want to sell it to someone only for them to find out in a month that the seals have gone??

Couple niggling bits to sort out; but wonder what problems sitting for this long will have caused?   Could engine give problems due to seals?

had it fired up yesterday for about 2 hours.. sounded perfect.

Rust pitting on brake discs and possibly flywheel. That leads to premature wear of pads and clutch plate before things smooth off.
Wants all fluids changing, check tyres for cracks in bottom of tread grooves, otherwise could be fine.
After 7 and half years in store, our 12A engine was no probs and done 49000 miles since: just the items I\'ve listed here were a problem.

Excellent Dave,

I had a problem with a vibration (sounded like prop shaft) on heavy excelleration; and this why I put it to rest, so to speak a few years ago.

Think I\'ll have it towed to a Specialist and jus have them give it a good looking over; change all the fluids and sell me some upgrades I probably want, but don\'t need ::2Rolleyes

Can anyone recommend someone in the Berkshire area??  I friend from the 300zx site has had RX7\'s and recommended  RXMotors... but it\'s pretty darn far away to have it towed.

Ro Technics are at Grazeley, tel 0118 988 8555. I\'ve used them a lot for parts through the post and found them excellent, but not used them for any work. They\'ve been going for years though.
