Aplan/flux/etc wont even quote

I dont know if im not getting through to the right people, but Aplan said they wont quote under 25\'s on a RX7
and Flux wont touch me unless iv owned it for a year.
seems odd as i know people already with policies with these people lol.

i used a side of aplan insurance that only touch jap cars down in london

The trouble is that they have changed the rules on a regular basis. There qre quite a few companies that won\'t even insure under 30\'s. 4 yrs ago it took me 2 months to find a good classic policy and Its even harder now !

22 isn\'t all that old for a FD in the eyes of the insurance. They have got harder to insure nowadays. Single turbos even harder.

yes i wish i brought one when i was 21 as i was getting much better quotes back then than i am now.
Sky are being very helpful i must say so far, though they even struggle to match what i got quoted last year.
Iv also got online quotes from admiral. all seems to come out the 2k mark though.
I will try aplan again see if i can get a quote with someone else and not get fobbed off.

when you get a quote keep ringing dropping the price they ll all want your business and soon itll drop i got mine from 1500 to 770 fully comp lol with a bit of blagging

got it for the 1500-1600 mark, shame the car I was looking at no longer for sale, so there is just the small part of finding another Rex thats been as well looked after, for about 7k thats not in Ireland hehe
agh its all fun this rx7 searching, almost looked at a supra......just not quite doing it for me like the rotary!
