Fitting ECU- WHERE?!?

Guy\'s when I started my project the ECU was already removed.. Now I cannot see where is mounts back to? I have a 1993 FD model. the mounting cage is all fitted to the ECU and I cannot see where or how it should go back.. can some one pleae post some pics of one in position.

It\'s fitting in the passenger footwell behind the trim on the outside.

You dont really need the cage to fit it.

I gathered it went roughly down there but I would prefer to mount it up properly if possible..

On the ECU you\'ll see that one part of the cage sticks out quite a way and ends in a fork. hold it so the fork points upwards, and the connectors face the front of the car. That\'s the proper orientation. You\'ll need to slip the fork in under some white plastic nearest the door, push it upwards so the two sides of the fork are either side of a bolt which runs through the plastic, then you should find that the rest of the holes in the cage marry up with threaded holes in the body. I hope that explains it OK!
