blocked cat?

think my cat is blocked. my 93 plate fd is completely stock. would it be ok to knock it out and make it a straight through system on a stock ecu?

I\'ve run my car with the cat smashed out.

I can\'t say i really noticed much difference but it was swapped for a Decat pipe and remapped shortly after.

The way i looked at it as long as i kept the Boost in check and didn\'t hammer it to death it was better than running the car with a Blocked cat. I don\'t know about yours but mine really didn\'t like it when the cat went, it startted getting really hot and wouldn\'t rev etc.

i have a cat thats clear for £40 if you want it! shouldnt really run them unmapped without cats as they rely on the back pressure they provide!
