Hi all from the land of sunburns.....:bandit

Now the Latest Australian Citizen ( My FC) has a bit of a problem. Its Been a nice hot week, and it got Regoed yesterday.

Its flodding on start alot! Now on the drive home it was Missing and carrying on ( and flooding on startup ) But in the evening it stopped missing and just became a pain to start.  If you pulled the ECU fuse And crank it would catch first go, Stick the fuse in as it fired ( 2 man job) and Presto.

Its got the Dizzy not the coilpacks!

If you did it one manned, It would unflood , fire, You stick the fuse in and it would start normally most of  the time ( but was obviously starting to flood) I als tried the In gear and start it trick but it didnt always work.

I pull the ECU fuse to stop the injectors pulsing more fuel whilst unflooding. Seems to worK, But is the ECU being Snotted by doing this? ( Im thinking of fitting an ECU switch not a Fuel Cutout , Good or bad Idea)

As it has seemed to do this On hotter days or after a Autotest Run, Im thinking the Thermostat is too High in temp. So does anyone know what a UK car uses normally? Temp gauge is not up the scale.

The car also is "smelling" warm but that could be just because its not been driven.

Its also getting a full tuneup :spank  this weekend too so I would like to do it all in one hit.
