Hi All went to Brands for the champ car meeting and found an
 RX-8!

Got a look underneith and found the suspension looks very 3rd Gen RX-7 front and rear except for where the rear coil-over shock mounts off the rear hub instead of the top wishbone.

There are pics of the rear if you scroll down.

p.s.  Sorry the pics are big.

Great pics - but this has really annoyed alot of loyal pre-orderers...

Dont post here often (as you can see) but spend alot of time on the rx8forum site.
There are many UK orderers on there and they are getting increasingly annoyed with the awful treatment from Mazda.
This thread (which has been linked to from there) has caused more outrage.

Mazda are giving out no information , ignoring e-mails , breaking promises and basically behaving in a very poor fashion.
One of the key requests that has been made time and time again is \'Let us know where there will be an RX8 so we can have a look\'.

And then it turns up at Brands Hatch where many of us could have gone for a look and no-one knew....

Now I have been waiting for this car a long time , and will not let Mazda UK and their abysmal service stop me - but many others are having doubts.....

Anyway - rant over.
Great pics anyway - thanks for posting them !

Don\'t worry, they wouldn\'t let us look inside it, even tho\' we flashed membership cards for this and the RX7 owners club, my RX7 keys and fob and an appealing toddler!!! (just to prove we were interested in a car that could accomodate kids...)
One thing that struck us was the size of the car: it seems smaller than I had expected and of course as we couldn\'t see inside I couldn\'t tell you how big the seats were at the back.
Even so, nice colour................
