Pressure Sensor

Hey guys,
 
On the boost pressure sensor (little black box) there is a pipe with a one way valve in it, referred to on the vac hose diagram as a gas filter.  Mine has become two way, and if you blow through it it works both ways.  Can i replace this with any one way valve or does it only work at certain pressure levels??

It\'s supposed to be just a filter, not a valve, so what you\'re describing is perfectly normal. Are you suffering from engine gremlins?

Just seems a bit strange that it has an arrow on it like the other one way valves...
 
Not really having gremlins, just decided to replace the rats nest with some new pipe thats all but did find 2 of the other one way valves sticking
