Prof

On this subject, does anyone have the wiring diagrams for the UK cars, or at least what the differences are between UK and US models ?

I have the service manuals for S4 and S5 in PDF format, but they are for the US version car, so don\'t cover the DIP/DIM circuit at all for instance.

I\'ve got the wiring diagrams for the UK 2nd gens Prof. :) (I\'ve got all of the red books)

Let me know what you want and I\'ll look it up for you or scan it or something.

Cheers Lynn,

I am interested in the lighting circuit - specifically 2 parts:

Where the washer pump gets it\'s feed from - I know the signal comes from the switch, but I want to see how that switch is fed with positive - my washer only works when the lights are on sidelights :(

The other bit which is different on the UK cars is the DIP/DIM.  I\'ve disabled that on my car by unplugging the power resistor, so the HID\'s don\'t come on when I have it set to sidelights with the Ignition on.  However, it would be even nicer if I could stop the light mechanism from popping up as well.

Thanks in advance... :Thumbs-up

Hi Gary

Yes a great job that you are doing there! :D  Not had a chance to trawl properly yet.  I might have one or two things you might not have, as I collect everything Mazda as you know.  Will check when I get a moment :)

Hi Prof

Don\'t know if Gary had what you were looking for on his website?

If not, hopefully I\'ve got the diagrams that you are after! :D (Think they\'re OK for your cab - UK April 1989 version?)

If you can PM me your email addy I\'ll email you photos that you can zoom in on?  Or PM me your snail mail addy and I\'ll photocopy them for you (2 x A3).

Excellent resource Gary - unfortunately your FC manual is for US (California/Canada variations) so the lights digram doesn\'t show where the elusive dip/dim circuit is.

Lynn - I\'ve PM\'d you my email :cheers
