So during the last year, I\'ve managed to misplace the one for my project (it wasn\'t on the car, but just lying around the garage.  I reckon losing one that was ON the car would be a bit rubbish... *GRIN*)

SO I am after one to replace it.  First choice would be a nice shiny Alloy aftermarket jobby, but second choice of a standard T2 one would be fine...

Working on the basis that I may buy a universal one instead, could someone give me the dimensions of the core of the stock oil cooler please?  From the way it has entry & axit at the same end, would I be right in thinking it passes from left to right, and then back?  Would this be a major problem for the cooling if a universal one had entry and exit at either end, but the same size core?  Presumably the flow would be slower due to the larger core size, but take 1/2 the time to complete the flow through the cooler.  Bish-Physics states this should be equivalent.  I can sort out the plumbing later...

Thanks for help and love!

Hi OJ,
Don\'t get an aftermarket oil cooler, the ones that are on Mazdas are so good that you can race with them.
I reckon that Tim would have at RX Motors.
Even an EGI would be fine for your engine.

Thanks for your help dude!

i did see one once, had a good look around it and though i dont need anything as i have a gen 1, i now have since brought a T11 alternator, fuse board, oil cooler with leads and a t11 leading coil (upgrading parts on the gen 1)

DOH!

i know this wont help but this guy (David) is breaking one but i brought the oil cooler the other day (sorry Bish)
