2k paint is usually 2-1 ratio.

i make shore the primer is flatted back really well.

when i an painting base and clear, i but the base on really dry, at a low pressure.

when i am glossing i put a light miss coat on first then two full coats on after. i leave the paint 15-20 min inbetween coats.

Also, if you intend to use an air sander on the clear coat make sure there is LOADS of water flowing to the surface or you risk a clump debris really messing up you beautiful paint work :eek

id use 2000 paper by hand instead of an air sander as it builds up to much heat and clogs the paper sratches deeper than the layer your flatting back.

its being mentioned about a dry coat then two good wet coats on clear and 2-stage finishes, i spray @ 50psi with nagative pressure in the booth so a add 5-10 psi in static conditions

also make sure you use a good quality 2-stage thinner in clear and 2pac as it reduces orangepeel so less work to flat back and polish
