You guys are lucky not getting stopped, when I had mine on the flat part of my bumper (laying down horizontal) I got stopped loads so ended up getting a sticky 1

wegded between the dash and the window. No problems yet. *touches wood*

I really thought I was in for it yesterday whe I drove past a ANPR camera, a T5 & 2 Bikes on the side of the road, but they didn\'t even move. Guess I\'ve just been lucky so far.

Mine was in the front window passenger side . You can have it apparently front facing from the window as long as it is reflective and front facing e.g not angled .

i thought the law stated it had to be of the correct size and be able to read from ten foot intront of the car hence why the cops get funny about window number plates cause you cant always read them

MIne was a normal front number plate . I was told by one of those traffic officers that it was ok .. and i only got pulled once in 2 years for it ... and that was only cos he had one of those hair dryers in his hand and i stupidly was doing 30mph in a 30 and i dont think he liked it so waved me down!!!

The 007 plate style thing is very easily made with a central door locking motor wired up to the plate.

Go to Halfords or similar, get a central locking motor, a on/off switch and then wire it up! Sorry if that sounds basic, buts that all thats invovled. Obviously you will have to make a bracket and attach the operating rod to the plate but thats about it buddy.
