Hi all,

Just a thought!!!

1. I have twin Apexi induction on a Standard twin turbo. My question is can i run a single filter spliting into the two seperate inlets and also would it be posible to mount it behind the bumper with a hole cut in the bumper for airflow?

2. I have read abit about V Mounts, What is the difference with the intercoolers? would it be possible to fit a Fmic in a V mount position? & how would it affect the radiator?

Cheers Garith.

v mounts are quite straighforward but do need a bit of jigging and fabrication
with the vented bonnet the v mount is the way to go and wouldnt bee much work..the one i have has been fabricated to give airflow to the filter as well
if u look on hayward rotary website that is my car on there

1, Yes there is no reason you couldnt do this, just make sure the filter can flow enough air.

2, The core is normally the same, just the end tanks are different. It should not impact on the radiator, just make sure that when setting it up, make sure you run the pipework so that you dont get air pockets.

I Presume this is the radiator?? Could it not stay in stock position with the intercooler above it?

Cheers Garith.

No the stock position slants it the wrong way. It would push the air down and under the car instead of thru it.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is there a link anywhere which show how it should be.

Cheers Garith.

Imagine a V on its side mate, but with the point facing to the back of the car and you looking at the car from the right hand side.

Next question!!

So with the rad in the v mount angle would the rad have to be turned 180 degrees so the rad inlet is still at the top?

Cheers Garith.

Have a look at this thread mate http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43978
Laeeq has almost finished his own v-mount using the stock rad & there are quite a few pics to give u an idea of the angle/position of the rad & IC.
