I do like the replacement 3rd Gen clear sidelights showing smaller round lights inside.

So where do you source them and how many pennies ?
I started with nothing and I have most of it left

I assume you are talking about the sidelights/indicator combination in the front bumpers?

If so, I think you mean the \'99 spec ones?

these later units won\'t fit a pre 99 car, unless of course you get either a late model front bumper or an aftermarket front that they fit into.

Yeh, those are they.

Won\'t they fit my late .98 ?. I saw quite a few of these lights on various aged cars at Brooklands, yet the shape of the actual lense and aperture looked identical.

How many different front ends are there on 3rd Gen cars?. I must admit the standard  front ends look the same to me save for the number plate bump.

Did Mazda change this light shape in .99?

Hi John,

There are only two types of nose that l know of ,pre 99 and post 99 ,
Cost for a conversion  is as follows
₤381 for the nose,  ₤381 for the under-bumper and ₤ 360 for the side light assembly\'s! plus painting .

l know this because l updated mine and chopped off the No plate plinth from the standard late nose, see //www.shyauto.com/yellow
