Looks like i will be running either a GT35 or Apexi single turbo kit soon.  I have the engine out at the moment as i doing a full rebuild.  So now would be a good time to fit the clutch.  What would people recommend.

Do i go for a single or double plated one plus where\'s the best/cheapest place to get em

Any help or advice would be great.  :o)

Cheers

I went for an ACT Street Strip clutch. It feels a little bit firmer than stock but comes in nicely and doesnt try and stall the car. I estimate that i am running around 360 bhp at the wheels and it hasnt complained yet.  It managed a 12.5 1/4 at the pod so its doing well.

I dont know what the twin plates are like but a lot people go for them. My ACT only cost 400USdollars from ebay which is a lot cheaper than a lot of the twins.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Hi Adam

There are many options single, twin, even triple:eek: I have an Exedy single, which is a very good package, I had it fitted with a lightened flywheel, had no slippage at all from that and quite reasonable in cost.
There are a number of UK suppliers who advertise on this list.
The other option I have seen used quite successfully is a standard plate used with an uprated diaphram, not sure how much that is though.
Hope this helps:)
