exactly what it says on the tin! lol. anyone near gloucestershire do remapping/tuning in their spare time? 1993 FD3s needs done ASAP

theres a guy who does alot of mapping for alot of people round Bristol and does alot of Mapping for RX Motors. Hes very good does my mapping and alot of people on here can tel you how good he is, has been doing it for years. His names Greg and Lives in Keysham between bristol and bath.

I can give him a call if you like to see if he is avialable anytime soon to have a look at your map?

what mods do you have?

Mods are:

Boost controller, air filters, T03 single turbo, dump valve, external wastegate, ported and polished, intercooler, water injection (soon to be put on), 1600cc secondaries, 850cc primaries, 280lph fuel pump, Fuel Pressure regulator. maybe more but cant think of them! lol

i think greg is the one i have already set up to have it done. trouble is he is quite busy and wont be able to do it for about 3weeks

me being impatient just wanted to get it on the road ASAP. its another 3weeks wasted insurance otherwise. i think greg has got a rough map already set up that i can chuck on there for now so i think it is all good

trouble is the best mappers are always realy busy so its usually best waiting for them to do as you know then thats its done right and you will get maximum benefit, you def dont wana get the map wrong or someone else to get it wrong cause you could end up with engine problems or worse case a blown engine. I have a mate who has a scooby and he always gets it mapped by the same guy whos meant to be one of the best mappers in the country and theres sometimes a 4-6 month waiting list for this guys services.

yes he did that on mine aswell, it will be a safe map which will work fine then when he does the proper map wil be able to squeeze a bit more power out

Yeah, he put a temporary map on mine too after i was run in with my new rebuild and single turbo. However, i made sure i was running low boost (0.5 bar) to keep things safe too.

what kind of prices does this guy charge, sorry for the thread hijack, anyone in the more nothern region although i think i will be taking mine to a "specialist garage"

i would have to check with him as im not sure what he charges at the mo. Hes cheaper then most of the specialists and doesnt charge much if you need to update your map in the future. Greg may not work in a "specialist garage" but he is regarded by many as one of the best apexi mappers in the country. I know he has looked at maps done by some specialists before and was not impressed by there work, no naming any names.

Trouble is he is down in the south west, near Bristol so might be a little far for you. Alot of the specialists tend to be down in the south i think WGT is one of the best up north although i havent experienced them myself.

Yep, he\'s spotted many an issue in other maps, and showed me how to spot it. It\'s really, really obvious and easy to do. I really can\'t fault the guy on his maps. Spot on! Go Greg!
