I just got some i won off ebay. I wondered if anyone could tell me as i\'m a little conserned about the boost gauge. The needle is sitting at -600kpa roughly i would\'ve expected it to sit at 0 or right back against the stopper? Not being familiar with the sptepping motors i don\'t know where it should sit without power and it maybe a while till they are fitted.

Anyone know if this right?

if electric then possibly nothing to worry about.

If mechanical guage then that should be sitting at 0 when not in use.

Timmy

yeh this is what i worried about it\'s electrical not mechanical and have no idea where it should sit with no power. The rest of the gauges sit a 0 but there\'s no other logical place for them to sit.

Hmm, I haven\'t got a Defi boost gauge but if it\'s electric I would assume that it\'s set against the stop, not floating about somewhere.

My old defi boost gauge used to sit somewhere around the same place when not in use sometimes, but when you power them up they do a reset and needle placement check so it used to correct itself, they flick to the top then to the bottom then rest :D so all should be good.
