well im going to pick my new toy up some time next week but i would like a bit of advise from others regarding fueling.

well the car has a single turbo but unsure what fuel pump and regulator it it using.

the stock injectors are running at 92% duty but there is additional injectors but they need setting up. it has apexi power FC and apparently has had a safe map added until a full mapping session with the additional injectors.

so i would really like to know if it has a stock pump what they are capable of running and which route i should be taking fuel wise.

ive been told the additional injectors, injector and boost controller need setting up for UK use

thanks

you decided to go for it then karl, all good another rotary in Yorkshire.

if it were my car (and i know the car you have bought) i would simply remove the extra injectors and fit 1600\'s in the secondarys, fit a bosch 044 pump and a known regulator and get it mapped at your chosen specialist.

good luck and drive it carefully during winter as the back end can step out very easily, especially with a lot of power.

thanks mate :wave

well to my knowledge i dont think that the extra injectors are running so really i could just leave them in there or is it just a simple case of just getting some sort of blanking plate?? im a totally noob when it comes to rx7\'s atm :Hammer  know my way round any 4c cyl

you see secondary\'s so which rotary is that on?? also what cc\'s are stock injectors??

i will be taking it very steady for a while until i know how they behave and handle but i wont be using it much over the winter as its a weekend car.

i see that your in york, what model is your rex??

tbh I\'m a fan of keeping things simple which is why i suggested the path above, you could have it setup using the extra injectors with the controller but it just seems like more things to go wrong to me. you could just leave them in place or blank them off or just replace the elbow to remove them.

there is a primary injector of 550cc and a secondary injector 850cc on each rotor.

i have a type r with a single and large ports. there is a meet at squires cafe nr sherburn in elmet on Monday the 5th if you fancy it, there are a few of us locally.

yeh me too mate. like you say, less things to go wrong.

what i really need to do is find out what the current setup is and go from there but surely it wont be standard?? or would it?? i dont know what the standard fueling system is upto, need to do a lot more reading i think :Snoring :Snoring

is that during the day as i will be working otherwise. it would be good to meet a few people and have a chat and get more gen\'d up on the rex\'s:cheers
