Feeler thread!!!

I will soon be putting the rex up for sale,so just looking/thinking wat you guys think its worth, and wheres the best place to advertise!

The details are:-
Mazda rx7-turbo 2 cabrio imported from japan (couldnt find a one a decent one here)approx 3 years ago
Approx 50,000 Miles from new.
Full mazda service history-T.W Whites in bookham, surrey.
New rear hood-new rad-undersealed,just to mention a few bits that have been carried out.Was shown at the Brooklands static meet about 2 and half years ago!Clive has seen the car,and even supplied me with a cover for when the hood is down!

There is no rust on this car at all,its been well looked after, hence the service history.

So guys, let me know wat you think its worth!

P.s if anyones intreasted let me know....

About fifty quid if you\'re trying to sell it to grinder, would be my guess :D.

Verts are notoriously hard to value as there isn\'t that much of a ready market for them. I\'d say you can get good money for it if you\'re prepared to wait, but if you\'re in a hurry, you won\'t get much.

Really nice ones should be going for 4k+, but that\'s really nice. The other end of the market is a few hundred if it\'s playing up, or probably a grand for a somewhat ropey one.

Best place to advertise it would probably be here and possibly retro-rides, but don\'t expect an instant sale.

Sorry, can\'t help on a price (not up with the 2nd Gen market) but try starting a new thread in the "Submit Vehicles for Sale" (http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=133) forum and say you are open to offers.

Thanks for the replies...to be honest I was looking at 4.5k minum really-theres nothing wrong with the car,no rust, not rot,the paintwork for the age of the car is in perfect condition!!!All as above really-i think to really appreciate it,you have to see it in person!!

might have to post an ad in the forsale section then!!

Any other help or comments is allways appreciated!!!

cheers...

p.s give us a ring grinder-as theres a new project that needs disscusing!!!

4.5k should certainly be achieveable if it\'s a mint car - I reckon mine\'s worth around that, but then again that\'s had a very good respray in the original colour and a rebuilt engine (plus it\'s a UK car).

I\'d go with the for sale section and possibly an add is something like Practical Classics / Classic and Sportscar. Give ebay a miss - I don\'t think you\'ll get that kind of money there.

You need to speak to Moonwrap RE: Cab values - but £4500 for a good one should be the least you let it go for. (As you are well aware theres a huge gulf between a good one and a rough one)
