I\'m not convinced by the look of my car bare-arsed so I started looking for good looking bare-arsed cars. Here\'s my plan to make mine look the part:

1. Slam it! Lower the bare-arse to the floor (any advice about keeping the angle of the car right?)
(log into RX7club.com and reload this thread to see all the images)

2. Tint it! Tint the back window (I don\'t know why it helps!)

3. Lower it again! This time by adding side skirts as well as lowering it...

4. Go wide arch! Oh yes, wider the better

5. Get a sunroof open!

6. Leave the wiper on! Controversial I know...

Here\'s the ones which are no good...

Finally, here\'s what I want...needs a bit more lowering and the rear window tinted I reckon

and bigger rear spats with a diffuser

What do you think?

Can\'t see most of the pics to get what you\'re on about thanks to "unauthorised image linking"....

heres mine before and after. rear spoiler looks better on aggresively kitted rex\'s imho,

In my opinion, It seldom does, especially when you have a huge kit.

My car was slammed. fat wide and always looked unbalanced at the rear without the spoiler. Maybe with a huge diffuser you could get away with it.

These are the best of my pics. Believe me there are some when the car looks very very bad.

Looks best here in side image when the back is in shadow.

I think the colour helps too... The more I look, the more I\'ve yet to see a single silver RX that in my opinion looks \'GREAT\' bare arsed..

Which is gutting as mine\'s silver, before I got it I was dead set on it going straight to the bodyshop to have it removed, now I have it.. I\'m not so sure anymore. Mainly because of pics of other silver ones.. lol

With this one however.. I don\'t know if it\'s the combination of colour / 99 style lights / lowered / tinted window, but it looks spot on.

here`s a few for ya. was gonna keep the picture of silver one quiet as this is how mine is gonna look....ish
if i had 8 hour to cut down a tree. i`d spend 6 sharpening the axe

I agree with most of the comments - the kit, colour and height make the difference..

I love the bare arsed view on mine (but I\'m biased!)..

Black ones defo suit bare arsed i reckon!
As said before if the kits to aggressive then it doesn\'t look rite without a wing of some sort!
Gotta keep it smooth, like that blue one, which always seems to get linked too whenever anyones considering going bare arsed!
I\'ve been caught in 2 minds as to whether or not to fit a spoiler to mine for ages now!

hows the balance without the spoiler tho?

i\'ve heard some ppl mention it felt a bit off...

fdlover

i\'d go veilside kit and bare arse if it was safe personally

what kits that mate? nice rex!!!!! lowered?

Decked, with some decent fitment wheels, then it looks right imho
The photo Matt K posted is on my desktop, and just makes me go weak at the knees.
A stock FD gets away with it in the right colour (Black, blue, white yellow) imho, but it\'s imperative that it has GOOD fitment wheels, especially at the back, and design seems important as well.
Wide, low offset, big dishu seems to really suit it. Pram wheels in the arches with non dished design just make it look all wrong.

I know that mine will certainly be losing the spoiler... when i find it...

From these pics, super low/super impractical always looks good. :)

The blue one looks great.
