Stuff I\'ve had off fo them has been ok - I could source my own water pump and rad for much cheapness...

Am I reading this right..

You can get a Turbo kit + manifold for $400..

What else would you need?

£200 for a single tubby upgrade??

Surely they can\'t be any good at that price???  :2Confused

I\'ve heard similar (although chocolate is a much cleaner definition than I\'d heard!)..

Yep - manifolds crack and so do the turbo hot sides, but I\'ve heard some good reports about the intecoolers and chargecoolers - it\'s just the shape of that bloody thing doesn\'t suite the engine bay very well - awkward pipe runs :(

Pip runs would be a bit of a mare - if it clears the top of the bonnet in the stock position then I could probably make it fit. (Lump hammer time?)

I have one of their manifolds with a Garrett GT42 hanging off it (no bracing) and its doing ok, no sign of cracking yet with around 5000 miles on it. If it cracks I`ll buy another one they`re cheap enough.

travellinbob

so did you buy one brett? have sen these things all over e-bay and have wondered how good they woud be especially as I am only hunting for 200- 240hp.
  cheers, michael.

Brett

I\'m still trying to decide - if I can\'t get hold of an IC over the winter then I will give it a go :)
