I\'m planning on giving this a go today or tomorrow.  Can someone give me the steps?  Ie fill up from this point first, top up here etc  :)

Any other advice?

Isn\'t there a technical sticky? I\'m sure I followed one when I did it....could\'ve been on rx7club.com though :) It\'s really making sure you burp it to get the air out.

Thanks for the link.  But ive seen somewhere guides that include information about the AST and what to do with it and the hose on the plenum.  Burping guide?  Test to make sure there is no air?  etc

It\'s not too hard.

Exactly as said in the link, except you may want to drain the block as well, it\'s a 14mm bolt under the spark plugs side of the engine and will let out another few litre of collant / water.

Then when filling up, just take the coolant hose off the back of the throttle body so that air can escape from there, then once you\'re pretty much full, stick a bottle on top of the filler neck if you can to get a head of water above the throttle body, then as water come out of the TB hose and corresponding nipple, stick it back on and job\'s a carrot :D

Mark just call Thareq and he\'l show you how to do it...otherwise give me a bell and i\'ll talk you through it :Thumbs-up

All done.  Piece of piddle in the end.  I just kept burping it until it started to come out of the pipe that goes into the TB.

Is this something that needs doing once in a while ? Had my car for 2 years now and havent changed it.

You should change it before winter comes. Antifreeze degrades over time and it looses it\'s rust prevention and cooling efficiency. The blue or green stuff will do as long as it\'s got ethylene glycol in. Dont use red antifreeze and run a 50/50 mix antifreeze, distilled water

10% to 90% water is fine in the summer as is 100% distilled water as water is the best heat disperser. however in winter 50/50 or similar is needed.

this should be done once a year.

I say 50/50 mix all year round because water reaches boiling point before the coolant .Also where is the rust prevention properties with 90% water? Ideally you should run evans coolant. Zero pressure on the coolant system but big debates on wether it\'s suited to a rotary
