..on standard suspension.

Trying to see whether putting some larger rims on will enhance or reduce the SUV effect I currently have with 17s

antnicuk

this quite appropriate for you, this gut was selling 19s on ebay with tyres.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

antnicuk

sorry, forgot picture

nice pic, cheers. is that on standard suspension do you know? lowering isnt an option for me at the mo cos insurance wont let me (bit annoying as i bought a set of HKS coilovers! before i had to change insurers)

antnicuk

I\'m not sure,  the add was on ebay uk, the shop was in the midlands somewhere.  It does look a little low but its hard to say on those wheels. They are 19\'s.

Stuart

Here,s my car it has 18inch Kranze rims on stock suspension,i think?

rextreme

This was mine on stockies.
Before and After HKS Hyper Dampers. Not set very low at all.
18" volks.  Looked Shit!

ScuttleRX

Cheers for pics guys,

Rextreme your looks pretty high at the front when it was on standard compared to stuarts. or is it just the pic.

Mine looks similar to stuarts little higher at the back.

Think I might have to find somebody with a set of 18s to let me try \'em on for size :D

Andy (resisting the urge to rant about insurance again)

rextreme

Mine has 225\'s which are pretty small.
They make it look worse.

But yes it was F..ken high.

ScuttleRX

sorry, just re-read what I wrote and it appears to have come out slighty wrong

what i meant is as standard mine looks slighty higher at the rear compared to the front, but it seems to be the opposite on yours, looks slighty higher at the front than the rear.

Think that makes sense :)  not really revelant anyhow, just an observation:D

Hows your car coming along now, have you got a lot more to do to it?

and have u decided on a colour, either orange or white your were going for wernt it? both look good on your photo-shoped pics:cool

rextreme

I think its just the angle of the pic.

My car is going back to Australia soon with me.
I will paint in when I get there maybe late July.
90% certain Orange. But I do have some other thoughts in the back of my mind.

As for wheels, I havn\'t been able to get enough money for the te37s, so I will keep the SE37w on there. They are still very light and give excellent light handling. Just add wheel spacers to fill the guards for looks.  I should have them after the Golden week holidays in Japan this week.

I recently bought some chrome 99 spec Front indicators And Im going to get the front bar very soon, Will either be Cwest/ Vertex/ or the Veilside one on the homepage.
Then the exterior is finished.
except
I really want to get some chrome rear lights of my own design.
Kind of like Lexus ones. but still the two red and one Orange.

After I paint the car, Im looking to sell it in OZ and get a 99spec car.

Any suggestions welcome

scooby_si

personally i think the veilside D1 with the RE-a AD9 looks great & was what i was guna do but not any more......
Not sure about colour that\'s more of a personal thing i guess.
Either way tiz all good!!!
Si

rextreme

Yeah, the veilside bar is a bit long at the front.
I saw it in the flesh and was a bit different.
Still good though.

There is soooooo much choice. I really cant decide.
Time is running down so next week I\'ll get something.
