please dont tear me a new one cuz im new to rotaries!!!

Im pretty sure i have blitz air filters, but on their website they seem to have 2 different versions for the FD.  Unless im being really dim it looks like the air filters need to be bought with what im assuming  are called the twin cores and not just replacement cones.  can anyone help??

cheers mate, just one other question.  surely i can replace the cones by themselves and not have to buy that whole kit with twin cores etc?

Are the cones damaged cause if not they are reusable, just wash them with washing up liquid and then when they are clean and dry put some filter oil on em.

Hi, instead of replaceing have you tried the K&N filter cleaner kit, I got the Apexi twin cones and after a good clean loads of dirt came out.

Halfords sell the stuff

Maybe worth checking to see if you can clean those first before forking out for a new pair.

Just a thought.

I usually chuck the filters in the washing machine to clean, as have the single turbo HKS filter.

And yep they look like the blitz type filters :King

There is a Halfords right by my work (dunno if thats a good or bad thing) and check out the cleaner kit.  Might as well clean them while im doing the oil/fuel filters, plugs, oil etc
